Abstract
China has unveiled the timetable for realizing a key strategy to vitalize the country’s vast countryside at the annual Central Rural Work Conference. According to a statement from the conference, by 2020, the institutional framework and policy system will generally take shape; by 2035, modernization of agriculture and rural areas fundamentally will become reality. Also China will strive to boost harmony and coexistence between humans and nature, develop and enhance farming civilization, innovate in the rural governance system and eradicate poverty.
