Ontario, CA— (September 19, 2018)––Kiwa Bio-Tech Products Group Corp. (OTCQB: KWBT) (“Kiwa Bio-Tech” or “the Company”), a leading agricultural biotechnology company that develops and manufactures microbial fertilizers for use in the multi-billion agricultural industry today announced that the Company has signed an exclusive distribution agreement granting Yangling Shaotao Agricultural Service Co., Ltd. (hereafter as “Shaotao”) with the sales and distribution agency for Kiwa Bio-Tech’s bio-fertilizer products in Gansu Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region.
The term of the agreement is effective on September 16, 2018 and will continue until December 25, 2021. Pursuant to the agreement, Shaotao shall complete committed fertilizer products sales in the period of September 2018 to December 2019. The annual sales targets in 2020 and 2021 shall be determined based on the previous 12 months performance of Shaotao.
According to the statistics from The Chinese Statistical Bureau, the annual amounts of fertilizers application in Gansu and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region reached to approximately 1,000,000 tons and 500,000 tons in 2016, respectively. The Chinese government is putting efforts into promoting the eco-friendly fertilizers replacing the chemical fertilizers nationwide, which generates a significant new market for enterprises that focus on eco-friendly fertilizers.

Shaotao has established a complete sales network and marketing model in Gansu Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The sales and marketing strategies of Shaotao will accelerate the promotion of Kiwa Bio-Tech’s fertilizers in the northwest market. Shaotao will also help Kiwa Bio-Tech to build the brand of the Company in the local markets and handle all of the sales in the northwest area.
Recently, Kiwa Bio-Tech signed a strategic agreement with Shenzhen Techand Ecological Environment Co., Ltd. to develop an integrated planting and breeding program in Tianshui City, Gansu Province. The cooperation with Shaotao and Techand will help Kiwa Bio-Tech open up new market.
