In February of this year, one of Kiwa Bio-Tech’s retail outlet stores in Shanxi Province established cooperative relations with Huyi Weiyuan Agricultural Cooperative (“Huyi Weiyuan”). Huyi Weiyuan has 18 greenhouses for planting vegetables. By rotating the vegetables, Huyi Weiyuan is able to harvest every 1.5 months.
After applying the Kiwa Bio-Tech eco-friendly fertilizer products, the quality and yield of vegetables have increased, and the residues of the pesticides and heavy metals have decreased. For example, the yield of the vegetables has increased from 3,968 pounds to 5,291 pounds in each greenhouse. A further benefit is that the grocery stores in the area have purchased the Kiwa Bio-Tech treated vegetables at a premium price. Vegetable growers using the eco-friendly fertilizer received 2 Yuan (approximately $ 0.32 USD) per pound which was well above the market price 1.5 Yuan (approximately $0.24 USD) per pound.
Huyi Weiyuan states that Kiwa Bio-Tech’s microbial fertilizers have significantly beneficial effects on the vegetables, and they will introduce the Company’s products to more local growers.
